Accessibility Statement
MSP Professors is committed to ensuring that mspprofessors.com is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Measures We Have Taken
- A “Skip to main content” link is available at the top of every page for keyboard users
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (
<header>,<main>,<nav>,<footer>) are used throughout the site - The site navigation is labeled with ARIA for screen reader identification
- Interactive controls (buttons, links) have accessible names
- Form fields have associated labels; screen readers will announce the field name when focus moves to each input
- Meaningful images have descriptive alt text; decorative images have empty alt attributes
- Keyboard focus indicators are visible on interactive elements
- The page language is set to English (lang=“en”)
Technical Specifications
- Built with HTML5, CSS Modules, and JavaScript (Next.js)
- Tested for keyboard-only navigation and compatibility with modern screen readers
Known Limitations
- The active navigation link uses a brand color (#01a9e3) that does not meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.2 SC 1.4.3 on all backgrounds. We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it.
